The Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Graduate Program aims to develop didactic and research activies on communication and orofacial function and on its relationships with other sciences. The program focuses on studying the processes and disorders of human communication, in order to provide to the student/researcher a high level of academic competence in the produtction and dissemination of clinical knowledge, within the scientific and ethical strictness.
The Program has projects on health promotion, prevention, diasgnosis and rehabilitation of communication and orofacial functions, and on information and communication technologies, witch subsidizes public policies. Therefore, it presents research laboratories equipped through several research grants, and technical and scientific agreements that provide the students a high educational level and allow good technical and bibliographical production of the professors and students.
